Floor Stripping Services
No matter what kind of flooring your business has, eventually, it will need an upgrade. Over time, foot traffic, dirt and debris, and other elements can create a dingy and unkempt appearance. No matter how much you sweep and mop, the floor still has stains, cracks, or other problems.
If your flooring has become too unmanageable, it’s time to call Allied Facility Care. We specialize in floor stripping, which can help restore the look and resilience of your surfaces. At Allied, we have the tools, experience, and expertise to ensure that your floors will appear immaculate.
What is Floor Stripping?
This term refers to the fact that we strip the top layers of your floor using high-end commercial-grade equipment. Typically, we’ll take off any old wax or protectant, as well as potentially years of dirt, dust, and grime. If it’s been a while since your floors were stripped, you’re probably overdue.
Once we remove the top layers, then we do a deep cleaning and scrubbing. Afterward, we seal the flooring in multiple coats of protectants and wax, ensuring that it will look incredible for years to come. In many cases, we’ll also buff the floors, creating a brilliant glossy shine.
What Kind of Flooring Can Get Stripped?
Thankfully, virtually all floor types can benefit from this treatment. During our consultation, we’ll discuss your needs so that we can customize our cleaning options accordingly. While this isn’t a complete list, the most common floors we can strip include:
- Hardwood
- Concrete
- Vinyl
- Laminate
- Stone
- Tile
- Linoleum
Even if your floor material isn’t listed here, we should be able to take care of it. At Allied Facility Care, we haven’t met a floor we couldn’t clean.
How Long Will the Stripping Process Take?
Each situation is different, so you will need to call us for a consultation. Some of the variables that can affect the duration of our work include the surface area (size of your business), the material being stripped, the current condition of the floor, and whether we need to buff and wax once we’ve finished. Also, keep in mind that tile and grout surfaces can typically take longer than flat materials like concrete.
Typically speaking, floor stripping can take one to three days, depending on the size of the job. Once we’re finished, though, be sure to wait at least six hours before opening the floor to light traffic.
The Benefits of Floor Stripping
While it may be tempting to get only commercial floor cleaning services from Allied, stripping your floors can be a much better investment. Here are a few reasons to give us a call today.
- Extend the Life of Your Floors – no matter what kind of wax or protective sealant is currently there, it will fade over time. Not only that, but dirt and grime can mix in, creating an even filthier surface. Stripping restores your floors to their original glory, meaning that they will be like new again.
- Remove Stains – sweeping and mopping can do a lot for preventative maintenance, but they usually can’t take care of a stained surface. When we strip your floors, we make sure to remove stained layers so that they can look immaculate by the end.
- Longer-Lasting Results – old and worn-down flooring can only be cleaned so much. Eventually, even commercial cleaning services can’t get the job done. In these situations, floor stripping will yield better and more resilient results that last.
