Commercial Bathroom Disinfection
You may not realize it, but the bathrooms in your business are incredibly vital to your bottom line. Unfortunately, because no one likes to clean the bathroom, it can also be one of your most significant liabilities if you’re not careful.
At Allied Facilities Care, we want to make sure that your bathrooms are always fresh and clean, both for your employees and your customers. If you haven’t invested in cleaning your restrooms, now is the perfect time to do so, before disaster strikes.
Here are just a few reasons why you need to pay close attention to the status of your business’ bathrooms.
Health and Safety Hazard
As you can imagine, the restroom is where germs reign supreme. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean that most of the surfaces in the bathroom are clean. Depending on how well people use the facilities, you could be touching and spreading some nasty germs, which can lead to a variety of health problems in the workplace.
To make matters worse, customer bathrooms are an even bigger hazard. Even if hundreds of people per day don’t use them, chances are that some of your patrons have less than desirable standards of hygiene.
Overall, all of this translates to a potential biohazard in your business.
Customer Perception
Speaking of customers, most people’s perception of a business can be made or broken by the bathroom experience. If someone uses your facilities and they are dirty and nasty, that person will not likely return. If you run a food service business, unclean bathrooms can tank your profitability, even if your employees aren’t the ones using them.
For the most part, the bathroom serves as a flagship for your company. If it’s always clean and pristine, people assume that your business is run similarly well. If the toilet is disgusting, it can ruin your reputation faster than anything else.
Get Professional Cleaning and Disinfection
If you don’t have a custodial service already, then you need to have professionals come into deep clean the bathroom regularly. Not only do your employees not want the job, but chances are that they won’t do an adequate job, which can negate the whole purpose of cleaning in the first place.
